1. 2. This word gave me difficulty in adding some meaning to it, despite an attempt at the use of the context. The word "secured" seems to hint that the word has to do with something perhaps being ready at her command to go out.

4. After finding the correct definition of the word, I can understand that the sentence expresses that she had a certain place in the theater that could have been hers and was always ready for her when she wanted to go.
