Though often I prefer to watch T.V instead of reading, the story is described much better in words. For example, the book described how important a kitchen is for Martha Hole (or most woman)at that time, and how frustrating Martha was when leaving home with unsifted flour. However, the movie is more detailed and is closely following the story line, and I'm so glad it doesn't have the scene of the dead Mr. Wright.
