- My Guess: I think the word means to become aware of a certain issue. Furthermore, I think it means Adrienne's work is unique based on how her personal life.
- Palpable (adjective): "readily or plainly seen, heard, perceived, etc.; obvious; evident: a palpable lie; palpable absurdity." (Dictionary.com)
- My guess was kind of close to the definition. Rich's poem help readers to recognize and understand certain situations in the era.
